As an engineer and designer currently manufacturing ukuleles here in New Hartford
(The Magic Fluke), wood and metal working has always been a hobby. I prefer to incorporate old wood and steel whenever possible and enjoy creating something useful from old objects. Lately I have been working with some old pine silo boards and straps acquired years ago and although I have never built a chair, I thought this was a good opportunity to give it a try.
