The Botelle Elementary School is the only public school in Norfolk, Connecticut.
These "Musical Chairs" were painted as a group project during art classes, under the
direction of Susan Rood, their art teacher. At Botelle, students participate in many music activities. In addition to music class, there are string lessons. The school has always had
a very supportive arts community. The students exhibit at their annual school art show and
at the Norfolk Library.
